Pickup installation

We install both acoustic and electric pickups in a variety of instruments and have extensive knowledge to help you get the most out of amplifying your gear. So if you want peace of mind that knowing your pickups are installed and balanced correctly will give you, come on down! Book an appointment to get your pickups installed correctly, the first time. Some jobs will vary in complexity please use this as a guide.

Passive Pickups

The price per pickup decreases depending on how many we are installing per job (only have to open it once obviously) The prices are based on an average Strat, Tele, Les Paul, etc. These prices should be used as a guide (could be a little more or less) and for hollow-body or limited-access guitars please add approximately £20. Custom switching and installs can be discussed.

  • One pickup £30

  • Two pickups £40

  • Three pickups £45

  • Hollow body guitars (+20)

Acoustic Pickups

Acoustic pickups are typically installed underneath the saddle or in the soundhole but there are also many other varieties with microphones, soundboards, bridge plate transducers, and any mixture in between! Alignment and proper contact are critical here for everything to work at its maximum potential. There are not many pickups out there that I’ve not worked with so we can install pretty much anything at this point, so long as it fits properly (I’ve got stories about this one hahaha)

  • Installation from £45

Active pickups

Active pickup systems often require changing the wiring harness, usually adding a battery, and are evaluated individually. EMG, Fishman, and Seymour Duncan are some of the most popular active systems out there and we’ve extensive experience installing them for Guitar, Bass, and other instruments, both acoustic and electric. Please contact me with your requirements so I can better understand what you’d like installed and have a more informed estimate.
