It doesn’t matter if you have a Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Banjo, or another stringed musical instrument; I’ll always try to help. The standard setup service times can vary from 2-10 days depending on what you need and how busy we are (it can be longer during very busy periods), so if you have specific time needs, please get in touch.

In most cases, I’ll need to examine an instrument in person to get an idea of the cost and time, but I’ll always give you my most honest and professional opinion.

The Fly-By! Speedy 30 Minutes In & Out

I know things are getting tighter out there, and everyone’s wallet is getting pushed harder, mine too! With that in mind, I am introducing the brand new ‘FLY-BY’ Service for quicker, smaller jobs and incidental work. A lot of problems are smaller, simpler, and only need a short time to solve. Got a guitar that only needs a little tweaking? A brand new instrument that only needs a push in the right direction? Then this is the service for you.

This is the quickest, no-frills, sort-it-out service solution in London: £60 + VAT for 30 minutes with me, one-on-one, to look at what you need. You bring your instrument in, we look at it together, get it sorted, and you can head out with your guitar or whatever else RIGHT AWAY.

There are plenty of guitar tinkerers out there who claim to offer magic in this price range, and this is all they’re really doing. Might as well take it to the pros in that case then!

The Anything-but-Standard-Service & Setup

THE CLASSIC

Our most popular choice: A setup is one of the most commonly needed adjustments for guitars and other musical instruments. A proper setup should fine-tune your instrument to your own style of playing, so it plays its absolute best for you, personally. The work I do here is carefully assessed, measured, and corrected for optimum balance.

We’ll have a brief discussion when you drop it off to assess your needs and style, and you’ll have a chance to try it out when collecting in case any fine-tuning is required just for you! You even have four weeks to try it out at home with your own gear and bring it back if you’d like some minor adjustments.

The cost of the service varies depending on the type of guitar and how much work it will need to be at its absolute best, but I will let you know before any work begins. Standard in-store hourly rates for servicing are £99 + VAT

(Expedited ‘speedy service’ and on-site jobs will carry a premium)

• Changing, stretching, and tuning of new strings

• Cleaning the neck (& oiling fretboard if needed)
